We went to Friedman's adjacent to Columbia University on a Wednesday afternoon July 27, 2015. The place was packed, and there was a line out the door.
Friedman's employees told us that they can make almost anything on their menu gluten-free. We ordered the fish tacos and B.L.A.T (Bacon, Lettuce, Avocado, Tomato) with added chicken. The BLAT was one of the best gluten-free sandwiches we have had and I look forward to eating at Friedman's again. I wish there was a Friedman's in the Bay Area because there are so many things on the menu that I would like to try.
