Conduct a Test

Testing foods is easy and interesting.

Then posting your results on our open database is beneficial to the public.

To post a test, first register here, then upload your test here.

Contact us if you want help with posting tests from your science fair or classroom lab session, as well as summer camp or DIY project.

When conducting a test, consider FTN's Gluten Contamination FrameworkTM to take into account whether the food that you're testing is conducive to gluten that is distributed across the food, or concentrated in a location on the food.

To learn more about the technology (called ELISA) that is used to conduct a gluten test, go to this web page on the website of the Institute of Food Technologists.
